‘THE VAMPIRE DIARIES’ Bid Farewell to Fans at Comic-Con 2016

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES cast and producers returned to Comic-Con 2016, making their eighth appearance at the convention on Saturday, July 23, to give attendees a glimpse at what is to come in Season 8 — and they then surprised all fans in attendance with a love letter in video form, thanking them their support throughout the years as executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec announced that the show’s upcoming eighth season would be its last. The video contained the exclusive premiere of the new song “Changing Tides,” by The Fray. Wow. I can’t believe it’s all coming to an end. Hmmmmm…I wonder if we’ll see any of #TVD cast crossover to The Originals. I guess we’ll have to wait and see, huh?
