Linda Movie Review: EVERY ACT OF LIFE

Every Act of Life review by Linda Ruiz

Terrence McNally is the most prolific playwright and screenwriter of our lifetime. His genius has graced the stages of Broadway, Off Broadway, Film and Television for 54 years. Winner of the Drama Desk, Tony, Obie, Emmy and nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in 1994, he continues to write about life as he feels it.

In “Every Act of Life”, Terrence McNally sits with us and passionately narrates his life and career. From his birth in Corpus Christi Texas, his commitment as an LGBTQ activist, to his triumphant battle with bilateral lung cancer, he’s open about every aspect that has affected and influenced his 80 years on this planet.

Featuring interviews and performance clips by such luminaries as F. Murray Abraham, Christine Baranski, Zoe Caldwell, Edie Falco, Nathan Lane, Meryl Streep and many, many more; “Every Act of Life” is an intensely personal story of the life of one man who has greatly enriched the lives of this generation, and generations yet to be born.
