Mike Pierce – Editor-In-Chief, Promotions Coordinator & Host of Pierce’s Playground (Podcast) – email@example.com
My name is Mike ‘Pierce’ Mireles. I’ve been in the industry for about 15 years now. I started in radio at the age of 25 here in Houston at a station called, Kiss 98.5 Kiss Again 103.3. I was the afternoon show producer and then later hosted my own weekend ‘after hours’ mix shows. I did that for a couple of years and then jumped into the record business. I helped start a label called, Latium Records (which is now Latium Entertainment). I really believe we were the first Latin label in Houston that tried bringing Latin Hip-Hop together in the early 90’s. After being there for a couple of years, I decided to leave and get back into radio. I started working for 100.7 House Party, which later turned into Party 104.9 – I emcee’d / hosted at several clubs here in Houston. I then got the chance to be the night jock at a Hip-Hop station in South Texas. I did that for 3 years and got the opportunity to move to Albuquerque, New Mexico to further my radio career…but I decided to stay in Texas…which meant I had to leave radio. So I did.
That’s when the movie business came knocking at my door. I moved back to Houston and started working with a promotional/marketing agency based out of Los Angeles. I did everything that major and independent film studios needed to promote their films. After doing that for 5 years – I decided to leave and start my own entertainment ‘Mike’ blog. I’m not your typical ‘movie critic’…I’m just someone who loves movies and reality TV. If I’m not blogging – you can always find me rocking the mic with my DJ’s.

What up! My name is Jenny Fly! I started off in radio at the young age of 18 doing promotions for House Party 100.7 and from there I worked my way up to being on-air. I’ve worked at a few stations here in Houston, House Party 100.7, Hot 97.1, Party 104.9, Mega 101 and KRBE. Now, I work from home for an Hispanic marketing agency based out of Los Angeles. I was born and raised in Houston, I love Houston! You can always catch me shopping! It’s what I do. I love music, fashion, movies, magazines, books, reading, dancing, cooking, hanging out with my creepers, and my family! They are the most important thing in the world. I work out because I have to, not because I want to and it’s mainly because I love food.

Jesus Figueroa – Critic, Reporter – firstname.lastname@example.org
My name is Jesus Figueroa. I spent a few years off on the east coast before coming back to Los Angeles, the city which I was born and raised in. I am an avid moviegoer who watches at least a movie a day. I watch everything from big blockbuster movies to the most independent movie that you might never hear of. Doing so has gotten me an eccentric taste for the strange a well as the mainstream. I have had a chance to go to a few movie premiers at the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater. In the last few years I began to write for the my college’s campus news paper. I am 28 and constantly going to events. I look forward to getting a chance to bringing you the best that Los Angeles has to offer.

Sherita McAdams – Film Enthusiast. Blogger. Wanna-be Reporter. – Vodka & Cupcakes
Greetings! My name is Sherita; about four years I took on an internship for various radio stations in Houston working Promotions and getting the opportunity to run my mouth on the air for 95.7 and the hilarious Silly Jilly. H-Town born and raised, I’m now ready to take on the city of Los Angeles. Currently two years running the blog that indulges into being your anything but average 20something, Vodka & Cupcakes, I also enjoy catching up with my second love next to writing, movies. My range is everywhere from ‘Whatever Happened To Baby Jane’ to ‘Clueless’ to ‘Dead Presidents’, but my first and favorite genre will ALWAYS be Horror films. ‘The Lost Boys’, ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ (the original, not that remake b.s), ‘Funny Games’, ‘Dead Silence’, ‘The Hills Have Eyes’ (remake), ‘Scream 2′, ‘Child’s Play’…I literally could go on til next Halloween. When I have time outside of writing and catching a film, splurging on graphic tees, watching trash TV, eating too much food or in some sort of shenanigans.
