The other night I watched DEATH RACE 2 on DVD…and I must say it was pretty cool. I mean, it’s no DEATH RACE with Jason Statham…but it gets the job done. It’s a pretty simple story…there’s a driver who works for this drug lord…something goes wrong in a bank robbery and is sent to prison. But, this isn’t any normal prison…this prison has been turned into a type of American Gladiator place. Prisoners are given the chance to fight each other on pay-per-view for all to watch!!

WHY CAN’T WE HAVE THAT NOW?!?! I’D PAY TO SEE THAT! (lol)

Well, during one of these shows…a prison outbreak happens and all this craziness stops the “fights” from happening…so you think. Too boost ratings…they tweak the show…and start…DEATH RACE!

Prisoners now have the opportunity to drive cars with automatic weapons and blast each other!! Racer who wins the most races…wins his freedom!!

Now, why is the DEATH RACE 2? Well, it's actually Part 1…the prequel. See, remember in Death Race…when Jason Statham arrives at the prison…and there’s a guy named Frankenstein? A racer who wore a metal mask…dies and then HE becomes the racer. Well, this is the story of Frankenstein…HOW HE BECAME THAT RACER. I know I know, it’s confusing. Check it out…if you liked Death Race…then DEATH RACE 2 is worth checking out.

I give DEATH RACE 2 on DVD…3 out of 5 POPCORNS!
