Over the weekend I checked out Blood: The Last Vampire at the Angelika theater. I had been waiting for this one for a long time!! Me and vampire movies are like peas & carrots!

Ok, Blood: The Last Vampire starts off with this girl named, Saya. Apparently she’s this super old vampire – on the hunt for this super old crazy demon! Yes, instead of her hunting OTHER vampires, like BLADE. She hunts down demons. Saya works for this secret government group who KNOWS that demons are among us…they set up the gig, Saya kills the demons, and they clean up the mess. You could say it’s a pretty good system they have.

If you like vampire movies – it’s worth checking out. If your going to see if it compares to the cartoon – good luck on that – I never saw it – so I can’t compare the 2. (lol)
